The Jerez de la Frontera circuit was created in 1986 and was the host of the World Cup for the first time a year later. In total, 250,000 fans of motorcycle races can sit in the stands. The track has two alternative threads - 4423 and 4428m long. He received a new surface a few times earlier in 2005, and more recently in summer 2017. It is a very popular object among teams, because they take many test sessions there. The Circuito Permanente de Jerez circuit has very good weather conditions, it is rare for drivers to complain about the weather during the Spanish Grand Prix at the Jerez de la Frontera track. In 2014, the Spanish Grand Prix was scheduled for the weekend from May 2 to 4, and it must be admitted that this is one of the events that attract the largest number of spectators, during the weekend over 250,000 enthusiasts of racing motorcycles crossed the track. The track is 4,428 meters long, the track is moving clockwise. At Moto GP races, drivers have to do 27 laps, which gives a distance of around 119 kilometers. The longest straight line is 607 meters, it would seem to be a very small distance, but it allows drivers to achieve dizzying speeds. The racetrack has five left turns and eight curves to the right, each one has speed records.
